The flag of Colorado is a bicolor blue and white flag with a red-letter C filled with a golden disk. The flag consists of three stripes, two blue, one white. The blue is meant to represent the blue skies, the gold symbolizes the beautiful sunshine the state experiences, the white correlates with the snowy mountains, and the red depicts the earth of the state. Adopted in 1964 the flag still flies in Denver to this day.
