The flag of Saskatchewan was adopted in 1969 and still flies the province's capital city of Regina to this day. The flag is a bi-colored flag of green and yellow with an image of a Prairie Lily and the province's coat of arms in the top left corner. The coloring is a direct representation of the geography of the region. The yellow depicts the grain field throughout the southern parts of the province and the green represents the dense forests that cover the northern parts of the province. Together they symbolize the beautiful province of Saskatchewan.
